100 Percent of Company Staff Reported a Welcoming & Inclusive Work Environment
Maitland, FL, January 17, 2023 – Castillo Engineering announced today that the company had become Great Place to Work® Certified due to the stellar results of an independent employee survey. In fact, 92 percent of the company’s employees said Castillo Engineering is a great place to work, compared to the national average of 57 percent. Additionally, 100 percent of the company’s staff reported that they felt welcome at Castillo Engineering.

The Great Place to Work® Trust Index™ Survey is taken by millions of employees annually and is backed by 30 years of experience in culture research and consulting. Global market leaders such as Hilton, Salesforce, Cisco, Deloitte, American Express, Target, Adobe, and KPMG have also been recognized by Great Place to Work® and continue to rely on its pertinent methodology and work culture data.
In order to become Great Place to Work® Certified, Castillo Engineering employees provided feedback through an independent survey run by Great Place to Work®. Expert work culture analysis of the survey results was then provided by Great Place to Work® to determine the scores. 100 percent of staff at Castillo Engineering stated that management is approachable, competent, honest, and ethical; and fully embodies the best characteristics of the company. After assessing employees’ high scores with regard to Castillo Engineering’s credibility, respect, pride, fairness, and camaraderie, the company received the Great Place to Work® Certification.
According to the Great Place to Work® 2021 Global Employee Engagement Benchmark study, which surveyed over 14,000 workers across 37 countries, only about half of employees worldwide are experiencing a great workplace. The study determined that the main reasons for this low percentage of great workplaces are: lack of equity, meaningful connections, and purpose, as well as poor leadership.
